میٹھے پھلوں اور میٹھی بولیوں کے شہر کوئٹہ سے تعلق رکھنے والے نوجوان موسیقار اور گلوکار اشتیاق حسین، جو نہ صرف جدید موسیقی کے اسرار و رموز سے واقف ہیں بلکہ دل میں موسیقی کے میدان میں کچھ نیا کر گزرنے کی آرزو بھی رکھتے ہیں۔ نیشنل کالج آف آرٹس لاہور سے موسیقی کی باقاعدہ تعلیم حاصل کرنے والے اشتیاق حسین کی یہ نئی کاوش ہے جس میں وہ بطور موسیقار اور گلو کار اپنے فن کا مظاہرہ کرتے نظر آرہے ہیں۔ Spear Shades کی ٹیم باصلاحیت نوجوانوں پر مشتمل ہے جن کا تعلق پاکستان کے مختلف علاقوں سے ہے اور جسے بلا شبہ نوجوان فنکاروں پر مشتمل ایک خوبصورت گلدستہ سے تشبیہ دی جا سکتی ہے۔

On December 7th, 2017 our band formed, Our objective was to bring a change in Electronic Music. It was founded by Ishtiaq Hussain along with a co-founder Zyad Ahmed Tariq, & a session player Zia Ul Karim.
About Us
Individually we belong to diverse and middle class families, we all are living stories among each other. Our objective is to convert those stories into an art. We experiment with new sounds to objectify our motives among humanity.
By adapting new ideas from various artists, we simplify our products among complex challenges.
About song
‘Can’t explain it’ is a future house soundtrack. It’s a unique blend of energetic sounds and emotionally motivational vocals. The uplifting beats in this song brings shivers to the listener. Pumping sounds also gives a sense of energy which makes the listener move along the song.
Music Video
Living in place among artsy people, we concluded on same page, ‘Can’t Explain It’, during ideation. It is a contrast different stories that happen among every human in this life form. We used symbolism, and an indirect approach to express it visually. It is visual impression for a viewer’s perception which includes the directors. This video is directed by Amir Khan & Ishtiaq Hussain, along with one of the best cinematographer Irfan Khan, who was dedicatedly committed & equipped with his gadgets. We had the idea, the whole team right in front of us.
Our concept was to show but couldn’t explain it. So we took one of a concept of the performers (Waleed & Ayesha), who recently did a performing art. It was an unexplainable & continuous sequence of a guy and a girl, who pass over each other & then the other one beneath it would pull the leg to drop her.
One of the concept was a box inside a box, which we can’t see but feel. It was idea of Ishtiaq, which was about expanding our limits.
One of the concept was on modern technology, which we all have feelings that’ll terminate human specie. It was the idea of Amir Khan.
